Kimerald: The Exclusive Loveteam

Uh ho, they are taking another shot at breaking up Kimerald in the guise of giving solo projects that supposedly will allow Kim & Gerald to 'grow' & 'mature'. As if those forgettable solo projects afforded them that when both Kim & Gerald have already achieved growth & maturity since Sana Maulit Muli. What...e-verrrrr!

Fact is, recent events like the Hearthrobs tour & the concluded elections, it became glaringly apparent that Kim & Gerald and their being Kimerald especially, are the major threat to other star's success. SOMEONE is not amused. Here is my 'theory'.

First, they tried to use the Kimerald for the benefit of others. I wont name names but I know you know who are these. Wait, they continue to do this still. For me, this is okay for Kimerald to help but NOT if aside from using Kimerald, they try to destroy them too. A-a, that's baaa-add.

Second, Gerald & Kim especially are major rivals of others stars. Again, no naming names. With Gerald & Kim paired with others, it will mean the destruction of the Kimerald loveteam. And what does the loveteam mean to Kim & Gerald? It is their MAJOR/FOREMOST strength. Take the loveteam away & Kim & Gerald will be just on a level to any young star today. I know the hardcore Kim & Gerald fans will dispute this fact but I hope, for Kim & Gerald's sake we will not come to the point of proving this detrimental fact.

Thirdly, with Kimerald destroyed, Kim & Gerald will be 'free for all'. Wouldn't that please the goddess of the Puppet Master. Finally, 'matitikman' na niya si Gerald, out of the way pa sa path niya si Kim. That's the main reason, the heart of the matter & the ultimate goal of why Kimerald & Kim & Gerald are bombarded with MALICIOUS intrigues left & right, front, back & center by PM's minions.

Okay, if my theory if off center, offer me another but not the crap about 'growth' & 'maturity' & the much flaunted 'secret industry survey'. Say, what?

Oh yeah, they want to give breaks to others. That great but not via bringing down the Kimerald. Wouldn't it feel better if those stars whose careers are flaundering like Nemo out of the water will achieve stardom because the public truly love them?

I dont know, but I just don't want to see Kim & Gerald become 'promiscious'... you know, having different 'partners'. It will only make them fake in my eyes. I want them to maintain that purity, that honesty that is so rare in showbiz. That's one of their qualities that made a lot of people love them because whenever they say I love you in scenes, we all BELIEVE that is what they really feel because we KNOW they feel that way ONLY with one another. Please ABS-CBN, give us that small piece of TRUTH in the make-believe world of showbusiness.

A lot of Kimeralds are asking why do ABS-CBN/Star Magic is doing this to the Kimerald? Everybody knows that the Kimerald loveteam is one of the company's major profitable assests. Rival networks are salivating about having Kimerald on their stable. Where is their business sense? Don't they want to earn billions anymore? Undermining the power of the Kimerald is one thing, destroying the Kimerald is another matter altogether. It seems ABS-CBN forgot the company's financial projections when there was NO Kimerald in Prime Time.

Why, oh, why rattan furniture? I have a theory...again.

Im thinking MAYBE, just maybe there are management level executives who have become puppets to the Puppet Master. Dont ask me why would they readily go along with the Puppet Master...to know the answer would be to be like them. Im not that devious....yet. I mean, it defies logic...here is the Kimerald who brings in huge amount of money to the company but they will willingly 'destroy' it for the sake of the goddess of the Puppet Master? In my book that is corporate sabotage of the showbiz kind. If im a stockholder of the company, I would fear for my money. The people who supposedly manages my money WORKS for the competition. Ring the alarm...the crew is making holes to sink the ship.

Strike while the iron is hotter than hell....increase production of the most saleable item on the shelf....guard the most precious gem of the tower....strengthen the main fortress....protect the lifeblood of the company...

....and these went over the heads of some puppets...who are maybe doing the 'see no evil, hear no evil, coz we are working for the devil' act...haha....HA!

I hope the time will never come when Kimerald & their management will look & see nobody is there anymore coz the fans gave up on the Kimerald because some people, in their arrogance, insisted to cater to the whims of the Puppet Master & his goddes & not what the fans wants. And what the fans want is Kim & Gerald as Kimerald. Networks needs us fans more than we fans need them.

(Lamentations of a fan who is so pissed by what they are doing to her fave loveteam. The pen is mightier than the sword and all that...hell hath no fury than an angered Kimerald...coz usually Karma swiftly comes to the offender...so be warned...unless one is a glutton for punishment of the karma kind.

Kimerald...defies convention...a unique norm

All these just go on & on...it seems never ending. Why is it so hard to understand that the Kimeralds want ONLY the Kimerald? By our name alone you can already gather who we prefer. We dont care if 'experts' will be used to argue with us fans to give 'credibility' to their arguments. They can even throw in 'in-depth survey' and 'industry studies' mombo-jumbo...we just dont care. Everything is so simple, its Kimerald that we want.

We could go on & on with the arguments & counter-arguments, employ these so called 'industry experts' to make us fans 'see & agree with the points of view' of some scrupulous management (Im not talking about Star Magic) but all just boils down to 1 thing & 1 thing only...we are the fans/patrons/consumers & what we DEMAND, the industry have to deliver...even grudgingly. Call us selfish, narrow-minded, violent etc etc but its Kimerald LANG that we want & that's that.

If Kim & Gerald followed the path taken by all the other actors & actresses of their age, im pretty sure Kim & Gerald will NOT arrive to the level that they are at now. Just look at Kimerald's career for comparison...since 2007, at least 1 teleserye EACH YEAR where the Kimerald are the LEADS & top ratings at that. Compare that to their colleagues who even entered showbiz ahead of them. Talent alone is never a guarantee to fame & public adoration. One has to have the elusive "IT" factor. This is evident from the first moment an actor or actress enters showbiz. Some who dont have this resorts to "manufacturing" a certain image to make one acceptable to the public but sadly the type of fame it can generate has a time limit because the mask will eventually slip & will reveal the ugly side hidden by the PR mask.

Admittedly, there are a few who are more talented than the Kimerald & more beautiful/handsome & even have strong backers but still Kimerald is ahead of them all by miles. The endorsement portfolio of the Kimerald rivals of those influential veteran stars. Their movies all generated big profits...yes sir. If only Star Cinema is not afraid to reveal the sales figures. I feel that the Kimerald's management is fearful to acknowledge the power the Kimerald have.

What I cant understand & still boggles my mind after 4 years is why they want to break up this profitable & perfect loveteam when in fact until now they are still trying to find perfect pairings for their other artists. They are still mix & matching to no avail & in the process wants to include the Kimerald in this unpalatable trial & error game.

This is the area where they always fail...they have this merry-go-round game of pairing one actor to countless actresses & vice-versa. They make it look good by calling it 'path to maturity & preparation for mature roles' when in fact it made those involved a showbiz replica of 'citizens with questionable morals'. I dont ever want the Kimerald to tread that showbiz path.

By sticking together as the Kimerald...fans' romantism as well as belief in true love is nourished & makes parents feel Kim & Gerald are good role models for the youth. By staying together as constant partners in their projects, they symbolize faithfulness towards one's partner, loyalty & ideal love. Lessons our family, the Church & society try to drum in all of us.

Some points being raised includes the Kimerald cant stay to be a loveteam forever...that maybe true because they cant be in showbiz forever but as long as they are in showbiz, I'll gladly give my 110% support to the Kimerald loveteam which I have been doing for the past 4 years already. And you know what, Im not alone on this because the very same people who have been supporting the Kimerald all these years will do the same.

The other point is the much rehashed 'growth & maturity'. For the nth time...can't people see Gerald & Kim have become fine actor & actress? Is there a some kind of blindness epidemic in local showbiz when it comes to the topic of the Kimerald? They HAVE & they continue to grow & mature EVEN while being Kimerald. Accept it already. (Im so getting pissed.)

The recent one is what will become of the Kimerald once their being loveteam is spent? My argument is 1) 4 years on & the craving for more Kimerald is raging hotter than ever & since being in the Kimerald loveteam is what fans prefer for Kim & Gerald, the duration of this situation is extremely long 2) If being the Kimerald is what people wants them to be, I dont think their loveteam will be "spent". they are like singers...a singer will not cease to be a singer just because some people says they are "spent" already. Being a fan, I know that one is spent when the fans dont get what they want anymore from the stars they support. And since we want the Kimerald, take that away & the fans will go too.

I, for one will be gone once Kim & Gerald will be partnered with others no matter how brief. For me, Kimerald will be tarnished goods. Gone will be the purity of the Kimerald's partnership, their innocence & honesty that separation will surely take away from the Kimerald. With it, the fans' trust, confidence & love for this loveteam will go too. It is like Kim & Gerald committing infidelity to the fans and to the loveteam itself as well as to each other.

What good did those 'separate projects labeled not separate projects' do to Kim & Gerald's careers? Did it made them more 'mature' & added to their 'growth'? Sorry, I didn't patronise these 'solo' projects & have no plans in the near & far future to ever make myself watch them & suffer feeling pissed off. You know what these 'experimental' projects did? Turn away potential fans & new fans of the Kimerald as well as the weak hearted long time fans who were so disillusioned by it all I dont know if they will ever be convinced to join our ranks again. Their loss was not particularly felt because there is still a Kimerald & new fans are added EVERYDAY. What's even funnier is the fact that the Kimerald's fellow artists are getting out of the woodwork professing to be fans of the KIMERALD LOVETEAM...yes, loveteam. Some are even the stars of the rival networks. Perhaps this occurence is telling us something. Perhaps, just perhaps, they are subtly calling for the preservation of the Kimerald too. I would like to think so.

The moment Kim & Gerald are paired with others, expect those silent but full supporters of the Kimerald to be gone. We cannot stomach to see Kim & Gerald with other partners (precisely the reason I will NEVER EVER watch those 'produced behind our backs' projects). Fame is fickle as the saying goes. You cannot ask us to wait for a while while management give in to the whims of other managements that only benefits their alagas & destroys the Kimerald in the process. We will not be swayed when ABS tells us that they will have the Kimerald back eventually. We simply dont have the patience & the inclination. By then, it will be too late for Kim & Gerald. I bet those who will benefit with the separation of the Kimerald to say (with crocodile tears) 'we are so sorry for you' while silently snickers behind their downturned lips.

I hope those scupulous managers will look elsewhere for help in the sagging or cannot take flight careers of their stars & leave the Kimerald alone. These managers would like to play dictators & force the public to 'like' what they want to offer us instead of our preference which is the Kimerald.

I pray ABS-CBN will remember the contributions of the Kimerald to their coffers & protect & preserve their precious jewel that is the Kimerald.

The Rockwell Date (July 2006)...Kimerald went to Rockwell...with chaperones, of course, ostensibly to go "malling" but this pic caused widespread, over-the-top kilig that went on for weeks. The fans' imaginations went into overdrive. This was a Ktext pic & I had this pic in my celfone for months & I tell you, it is a trial to your facial muscles...grinned like an idiot just thinking about this pic.

Second pic is a screencap from TVP (2007). Kimerald walking on the red carpet attending a movie premiere. Some loveteams went to this event solo or separately but not Kimerald. They even sat together. This scenario is just one of many as we will see in the succeeding years...Kimerald ALWAYS together everywhere. Couple na couple.

Kimerald at the Embassy during Sir Deo's party....matching colors & smiles. Bet'cha Kimerald stuck to each other like glue. Both stars dont go out much but when they do, its not in party places like this. Not their cup of tea. Someplace quiet where they can enjoy themselves.

Kimerald arrived & left an awards event TOGETHER. Again, matching color outfits. These pics fairly shouts "COUPLE".

Pic taken at Wowowee backstage exactly 3 years ago...May 12, 2007. Not only Gerald had his arm around Kim, he also had a firm grip on her blouse. Warning off the guy beside him, perhaps?

I haven't been to the Golden Gate but im sure if I went there now the view would not be as lovely as these. Oh, were we supposed to admire the bridge? teeh heee

Circa 2008 is next but boy, oh boy, if I had such a hard time choosing pics from 2007, I had so much more difficulty for 2008 coz there is so many. The pics in 2008 glaringly points to the obvious of what Kim & Gerald have together.

Time & again intrigues against Kimerald are hatched by rivals trying to destroy this Perfect Loveteam. But these "issues" are your usual mixture of uninformed emotionalism by people whose ignorance, misdirected or bought enthusiasm outstripped their factual knowledge or simple ignorance of events & situations. Usually, these types manufacture stories to lend credence to what they say even if it is blatantly obvious that all are lies designed for the benefit of those they are in favor of.

Permit me to substantiate the real Kimerald as seen through these series of pictures I got from everywhere. There is a saying that goes like this... A picture paints a thousand words. So via pictures, im going to illustrate the relationship of Kim & Gerald. These are only some of the private & semi-private pics taken from the internet over the years.

If one still could not get it, it's your problem.... just kidding.

Okay, Kimeralds, let's dissect & reminisce to our heart's content. Let's start circa 2006.

A... Kimerald in ABS parking lot right after the big night. This pic caused a lot of Kimerald so much giddiness. Boyfriend na boyfriend ang asta ni Gerald. Take note of the interlocking hands. That's uniquely Kimerald...much copied here on.

B... Between takes of Love Spell: My Boy, My Girl. Really, do you have to hand your arms around each other? I dont recall a scene like that in MBMG. JUST loveteam? Kilig barometer just went up, up & away.

C... The hands that produced a thousand fluttering hearts. That's backstage in ASAP if I had it correct. Need I say more?

D... Again, from LS: MBMG. I tell you, this pic almost made me pee in my shorts. lol I privately labeled this as "This guy is mine, girl, im yours".

Even then, Kim & Gerald spends their free time together. That's beyond the call of duty, don't you think? And do they have to stand close or next to each other all the time if there isn't something there? AH, don't think so, dahlings!
